Oumar Nabe (Ph.D., MBA) is the founder and CEO of Reveal Analytics LLC, a Management Consulting, Dynamic Data Analytics and Technology company based in New York City. He has extensive corporate as well as entrepreneurial experience. Before founding Reveal Analytics he was founder and CEO of LeapQ Inc., a technology startup based in San Jose (CA) that developed risk management solutions for financial services companies to manage consumer credit risk. He worked at GE Global Research Center in Niskayuna, NY and at GE Capital in Stamford, CT where he held high level management positions. He was Director Global Intellectual Property (IP) Licensing with the Business Development group at GE Capital Corporate in Stanford (CT) where he was responsible for monetizing the IP for GE Capital operating businesses. Before that he was Sr. Vice President Technology and Global Analytics at GE Capital Global Consumer Finance (later GE Money) for several years where he implemented hundreds of marketing and risk management solutions for GE Capital consumer businesses in Western and Central Europe, Japan, Australia, Asia and South America. He traveled extensively in these regions for several years to work with Country CEOs and their management teams and used Six Sigma to define their requirements and implement cost reduction and productivity improvement programs, and to drive growth profitably with rigorous marketing and risk management algorithms. He managed a team of several hundred Analysts (Ph.D., MS and MBA) based in Leeds (UK) and Bangalore (India) to drive the growth of GE consumer businesses through advanced analytics. He was involved in due diligence with GE Capital Business Development team in Europe for major investment in technology companies by GE Capital. Before moving to GE Capital Oumar was Manager Technology/Business at GE Global Research Center in Niskayuna, NY where he worked with scientists from different fields to identify and transfer productivity solutions from the research center for implementation in GE Capital operating businesses in the US and in Europe to drive growth with technology improvement. Oumar managed his own consulting practice (Quantech Associates) for several years before joining GE. Before that he was Vice President Planning at Popular Club Inc., a leading direct selling catalog company that sells merchandise to millions of Club Secretaries and their Members via easy weekly payments. He spent several years at JCPenney Corporate Planning Division in New York City as Sr. Project Manager Operations Research where he managed the company’s Internal Consulting team and led the development of advanced algorithms to implement marketing, productivity and fraud detection solutions for JCPenney Catalog and JCPenney Stores Divisions. He was successively Sr. Economic & Financial Analyst, Director Corporate Business Planning and Executive Director Marketing Services at Western Union Corporate in New Jersey before leaving the company to work for JCPenney. Oumar was a tenured Associate Professor of Business at William Paterson University in New Jersey where he taught Corporate Finance, Investment Analysis, Capital Budgeting, Statistics and Operations Management before leaving teaching to return to the corporate sector. He received his MS, MPhil and Ph.D., degrees in Industrial and Management Engineering from Columbia University School of Engineering and his MBA at Columbia Business School. He holds a MA degree in Economics from the New School University in New York and a BA in Statistics from the University of California, Berkeley. He is the holder of several US patents.
